Aluminum extrusion production process

1. Aluminum rod tile

Put the prepared aluminum rods on the material rack, leave a certain gap between the aluminum rods, be careful not to pile up the aluminum rods, otherwise it will increase the difficulty of the extrusion machine.

2. Aluminum rod heating

The heat treatment of aluminum rods should ensure temperature control. Heating is carried out at room temperature. When the heating time reaches 3.5 hours, the temperature reaches 480°C. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will directly affect the hardness of the finished product. The temperature must be strictly controlled during the cooling process.

Extrusion pads must not be placed backwards or sideways. The operator is not allowed to leave the aluminum rod until it is pushed into the extrusion cylinder.

5. Traction

The aluminum profile tractors on the cooling bed must not rub, pull, overlap, squeeze or entangle with each other during the process of retrieving, moving and stretching, and a certain distance should be left between them. The role of traction: during the working process, the aluminum profile tractor clamps the aluminum profile from its outlet, and then pulls it to a certain length to reach the predetermined extrusion length, and then, through the tractor, the extrusion machine can stop the extrusion work, thereby avoiding various problems caused by over-extrusion.

Aluminum alloy profiles with the same material, thickness, size, hardness and performance requirements should be placed in the same furnace for aging treatment as much as possible when aging aluminum profiles. Function: After the aluminum profile is extruded, it passes through the cooling bed, then straightened, and then sent to the aging furnace for artificial aging treatment. The purpose is to meet the aging treatment of aluminum profiles and obtain better hardness. At present, aluminum profiles are divided into AL6063 and AL6061 aluminum alloys according to their materials. The hardness requirements after aging are 9~12 degrees and 15~17 degrees respectively.
